T.P.C is affiliated with Pistol Shooting Qld and is affiliated with Pistol Australia (PA), International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF), International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC).
The Toowoomba Pistol Club was established in Collier Street Toowoomba in 1959, being one of the first two clubs established in Queensland. Pistol shooting in Australia was introduced prior to the 1956 Melbourne Olympics to enable the then shooting fraternity the opportunity to compete against the world in this exciting sport.
Although we owe the Olympic Pistol matches a great deal for our existence today, much has changed over the years, with a number of other shooting disciplines being introduced.
The T.P.C. regularly conducts social events and a variety of different shooting disciplines and promotes interclub competition throughout the year with open and invitation shoots.
